Granite State Comic Con: Part I
We came. We saw. We raised some cash.
This weekend GBNH attended Granit State Comic-Con were we sold raffle tickets to give away a few t-shirts as well as a pair of Jim’s patented ecto-goggles. We managed to raise some good money for the Red Cross this Sunday. The con was a real treat for us; we got to take a ton of photos with people (including an eight year old girl who won one of our t-shirts), do some leg work for a cause, and meet some really creative people at the convention (including Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener- the team behind Atomic Robo!) We also took a seat on Ben & Josh’s Near Mint Comic Show, a local podcast that should be updating sometime in the near future. When it’s up we’ll be sure to post the show.
It was really a great show- and probably the funest event we’ve attended yet. Click the image above or this link to get a look at all the pictures Kristen snagged at the con. It’ll be a blast to come back in May when the show is ten times bigger.
In website related news, we now have a Fan Photo section we’ll be regularly updating with any photos we get sent from people in the wild. Right now we only have a handful of pictures up, but by mid summer I’m sure it’ll be a crowded location. Keep your eyes peeled.
