Ladies and gentlemen, we’d like you to meet Pete Langlois, the newest member of GBNH.

A proud father of two, Pete has joined the ranks of our amazing team of prop-building, charitable goofs here at the Ghostbusters of New Hampshire. His maiden voyage? The Cruisin’ Downtown car show in Manchester this past weekend.

The wait is over- our trailer is up!

Now a new wait begins: the wait for the final film. Until then? Watch the trailer a million times. We even got Jon St John to do our voice over!

For those not in the know, “Spilled Milk” is our first venture into a team-based fan film. We’ll be posting a trailer in the coming week, so stay tuned for it.

In charity news, GBNH will be attending Touch a Truck in Newton, MA this September where we’ll be benefiting The Newton Partneship, which represents The Newton Community Service Center, Newton’s public schools, the John M. Barry’s Boys & Girls Club, and many other community charities. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend- we hope to see you there!

For those looking to see Ivan Reitman’s timeless comedy classic on the big screen, look no further than North Conway’s Settler’s Green screening on Tuesday, August 10th at sundown (roughly 7-8pm). The movie will be shown outdoors on the green where you can grab some popcorn & ice cream as you enjoy the movie. Unfortunately, GBNH will not be able to attend- but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the movie!

In GBNH news: we were recently interviewed by Tiffany Eddy of ABC New Hampshire’s Chronicle! Pat, Jon, and I (Kevin) were sat down and questioned about the world of charitable ghostbusting- the props, the late night building sessions, the fund raising, the impact on our families, the whole lot of it.

The story will be airing in a few weeks’ time, most likely in early September. We’ll be sure to post more infortmation as it comes to us, including the video bumpers we shot for the Chronicle (imagine three men in full GB uniforms telling you to “Catch The Chronicle Tonight at 7!”). It’s not everyday you get to visit Ghostbusters’ headquarters. It’s also quite a rarity to enjoy an afternoon with fellows as excellent as those in The Real Ghostbusters of Long Island.

This Sunday: we did both.

In fellow franchise news, GBNH will be taking a visit to New York this weekend to visit our friends in The Real Ghostbusters of Long Island! We’ll be enjoying a cookout, kicking back with the guys, and swinging by Hook and Ladder 8 for a photoshoot with all the guys and our respective Ectos. We’ll be sure to post a horde of photos after the meetup here and on our Facebook page.

Movie Update! GBNH: Spilled Milk is coming along quite nicely, I’ve got to say. So far we’re a little over 60% done with the entire production of the movie- including all special effects work and editing. We’re hoping to have a few more screen caps up in the next few weeks to further excitement for the movie’s premier in early August, so we’ll keep you posted on any further developments. I think we can safely say that the film is exceeding our expectations with every passing day of post production work, and we frankly can’t wait to share it with everyone. It’s a shame we can’t post more media from the movie at the risk of spoiling some of the funner moments from the movie, so it looks like we’ll have to keep a lid on it for now.

We also have two grand announcements coming this week as well, one regarding some special treatment we’ll be receiving at an event hitting later this year. The other is something we’ll be working on this Tuesday- and we’ll be posting that evening to reveal just what we’ll be working on.

We were busy this weekend.

On Saturday night we had our first night of shooting for our up-coming short film “GBNH: Spilled Milk.”

Featuring the entire Ghostbusters of New Hampshire crew alongside GB SLC’s Jonathan Paul “Sketch” Rudy, this movie is our team’s contribution to the world of humorous fan films as well as the Ghostbusters franchises worldwide. Being a crossover film, GBNH spared no expense taking this opportunity to make it’s story unite two franchises and, hopefully, start a stream of semi-regular cross over movies occurring nation-wide.

We’ve got roughly a day and a half of shooting left on the project and a few weeks of editing afterward. We’re crossing our fingers and trying to get the movie up and online by the end of July.
