Due to inclimate weather this Saturday, Touch a Truck was postponed until May 15 (next Saturday).

Rather than wallow in self pity, GBNH got to work this weekend on finalizing the Ecto HHR in all of it’s wondrous glory! That’s right- the car is nearly complete. However, we’ve sworn an oath of secrecy to keep all video and pictures of the finished car offline until the car’s unveiling at Touch a Truck. But- there’s no problem with us unveiling some bonuses we were able to work on thanks to the extra week the rain delay gave us!

So, come this weekend we’ll be unveiling, via video and a plethora of photos, the Ecto HHR in all of it’s shiny, Ghostbustin’ beauty. Stay tuned!

Last night Jon, Derek, and our buddy Peri took a welding torch to the steel we cut last weekend- putting together the final framework for the Ecto-HHR’s roofrack.

After seeing some stress test videos I’ve got to say- this thing is rock solid. It’s only a matter of time before we attach this sucker to the HHR. We’ll be posting a video soon showing the various metal work we’ve put into the rack, including us taking the Ecto for a spin down to Touch A Truck where we’ll be helping Noah’s Ark Child Care Center and the Simon Youth Foundation (not to mention the NH Food Bank)!
