True to our word last week, here we are with another props update.
If you take a look here to your left, you’ll notice Pat Harmon chopping up some steel for the Ecto HHR project we’ve been working on at GBNH. This weekend we gathered and worked on the car’s roof rack frame. The sucker is going to be made out of solid steel. It’s looking like it’ll be welded together this week too, so we’ll be sure to provide new video of the car in roughly a week’s time.
In other news, our Prop Building section got an update today. Now listed under our Equipment page as well as our Media section, our Prop Building section will now contain various photos from our never-ending prop building sessions.

A lot can go down in a week or two, so rather than recap it all in one entry we’ll just be focusing on one or two beats today and hopefully the rest later this week.
For starters: we have revealed a pet project of ours this week at GBNH: our open source GB team banner. If you look at the bottom of any page on our site you’ll find a horizontal banner featuring a handful of GB charity teams from all over the USA and more. Click any of the logos to be taken to the team’s respective website/Facebook page/website.
The goal is to get a few more teams on the banner (a volunteer system) and make the code to the banner copy and pastable, that way other sites can go ahead and use the same banner. It’s currently a work in progress, but I’d like to think it’s already a genuinely cool idea. Props to Jon for the concept and resizing.
In prop building news, Pat & I spent a day working on the Ecto HHR- our lovely method of transportation. I’d love to tell you just what we did…. but why not just watch this video instead!
We also have signed on for a few new charity events coming this summer & fall. We’ll be updating our calendar soon with a handful of events ranging from food drives to children’s charities, hopefully within a week or two. We’re currently planning something super-special for this August, but our lips are currently sealed. Top secret stuff, you understand.
